Balform have taken delivery of a new 5 axis routing machine. The Maka MK7s is a duplicate of one of our existing routers meaning programmes can run on either machine resulting in increased capacity as well as reducing any machine overloading and possible bottlenecks within our production process.
Balform has been given permission to improve both the physical and aesthetical aspect of the 2 units currently occupied at Wooburn Ind Park. The works will include new roofs, windows and doors, increasing light and insulation and redecoration to the outside cladding on all elevations. The works will also improve the offices within unit 7.
Balform have installed a new Guillotine in unit 7 to aid the process of raw material handling. The new machine will help Balform to reduce raw material scrappage during handling.
Balform have just taken delivery of another new Vacuum forming machine. This time the maximum forming size is increased to 1200mm x 700mm x 400mm (XYZ). Also the addition of “ Speedium Heaters “ allows us to both decrease run time considerably and increase productivity.

This new machine has a maximum forming size of 1200mm x 600mm x 400mm (XYZ) with an adjustable frame that allows us to tailor the machine to your needs, continuing Balform’s commitment in utilizing the latest technology to improve our service to you.
