Balform originated as a pattern and tool making company, which gives us a large in-depth knowledge and experience for use in design and development of tooling from prototype through to production.

Our tooling is manufactured in house using the latest, state of the art CNC machining centres, which are supported by our full 3D modelling and machining package which allows us to read and export almost all 3D/2D cad file types, providing Balform with quick and easy compatibility with our customers.

Our in-depth knowledge of producing both tooling and finished product allows us to supply many services and solutions such as:

  • Design of prototype models and tooling
  • First off trimmed samples
  • Reverse engineered models and tooling from existing products
  • Full project management of new programs from design through to production
  • Aluminium, wood and resign tools, trim jigs and assembly jigs
